"The College Zone counselor was immensely helpful in making my application sound unique and polished. He provided a third person perspective through one-to-one sessions. The application process bacame less intimidating when it was broken down into discrete steps. The initial interview helped me tremendously in discovering my own strengths and gave me material for my essays, while constant reviewing of my application as a whole allowed me to present a coherent image to the adcom and made sure my voice rang through. Thanks, College Zone! "Y T Heng

I am so pleased with the College Zone’s services this year for my child, Ria Mehta. My daughter benefited from consulting her College Zone trainersthroughout her senior year at the Singapore American School. She received admission news from Babson College, the University of Southern California, and the University of Texas at Austin, due to her trainer's outstanding efforts and many hours of hard work to help her with her applications to nine, prestigious universities. The College Zone trainer constructed and proofread all contents of her University Applications, and as a parent, I am very happy and thankful for his help. She also benefited from a SAT course, available at SATS Zone. My daughter intensely studied Math Level 2 for the SAT Subject Tests and received a well-deserved score. She told me she has learned so much in those ten math sessions and it was really worth it. Ria will reap the rewards in university and we highly recommend these services for other students. The College Zone trainer helped with writing essays, formulating excellent responses, and used his experience to guide his students. He always established deadlines and never compromised with the workload and the quality of the work. We certainly appreciate the time and effort put into Ria’s much anticipated university career.
Thank you,
Mrs Mehta

The SATS Zone certainly prepared me exceptionally well for my SAT1 and SAT2s. At first, I was struggling to re-learn the concepts and knowledge that I had learnt back in school. After 2 years in the army, with all its commitments and not touching any academic books, the SATS Zone ensured that professional tutors helped me revise the basics in the quickest possible time.
I had taken my SATs back when I was in Secondary school but without preparing for it, and I was not satisfied with my score. I only had about 3 months before my second attempt at the SATs and I desperately needed a crash course. I had tutors for each subject in the SAT1 and SAT2s: Math, English and Chemistry. Through the dedicated coaching and guidance of SATS Zone tutors, I managed to step into the test hall with confidence and come out of it with a good score. My score improved by nearly 300 points. I was very relieved that my scores improved significantly which definitely increased my chances of being admitted into my university of choice.
At the SATS Zone, the SATS Zone trainer was my counsellor, mentor and guide. He led me each step of the way so that I could achieve my goal of getting into a good university. Dedicating many hours (up to 3-4 times a week), the SATS Zone trainer would sit down and assist me in crafting my personal statement and other supplement essays needed for my application. I even could call him or arrange a meeting at anytime of the day should I require any urgent help, which I did on a few occasions. With many thorough yet casual dialogue sessions, we brainstormed many ideas that fit well into my essays. He was really helpful in assisting me and never failed to offer me additional advice and tips on which Engineering schools to apply to and the methods of going about these applications. He also had a great knowledge of the admission criteria of various universities and the standards set by their respective admission offices.
We only had 3 months to rush these applications, yet all the deadlines were met and all the essays were completed with high standards. Even when I was in the army, college application essay drafts and suggestions would be sent back and forth between my SATS Zone trainer and me via email, which I am thoroughly grateful for. I am also very thankful for his genuine concern for my future academic and professional life.
After months of hard work and with the help of SATS Zone’s professional staff, I managed to be admitted to one of my top choices, University of Michigan Ann Arbor (school of Engineering). I am truly appreciative of all the help and assistance. The SATS Zone gave me an added advantage in my university applications and it also helped me focus on my future goals when I was initially uncertain.
With its passion for helping students within a professional and friendly setting, the SATS Zone fully equips its students with the necessary skills to achieve their goals; be it scoring higher in the SAT or getting admitted into their dream university.

Hello, my name is Anand Alagappan. I graduated from an International School in May 2009, with an IB diploma. As a Singaporean Citizen, I was committed to a mandatory 2 year-stint in the Army immediately upon completion of my secondary education. Knowing this, in my junior and senior year of high school, I put off doing college research and preparation and instead opted to focus on my studies. It seemed a wise decision at the time, and my grades were notably better than those peers who devoted their time to finding a good uni and writing essays. I felt justified not only by the grades, but also by the fact that I wouldn't be applying till fall 2011, two years down the road.
After joining the army and being fast tracked through command school, I found myself having very little free time to begin the college preparation process. With the application window opening soon, I grew increasingly worried, and began wondering how I would make up for lost time when I was so consumed by my role and activities in the Army. One of my army mates was in a similar situation to me, and introduced me to College Zone. He told me how it was an organization that specialized in helping people get into university, and that they were well versed in all aspects of the admissions process.
I was immediately interested, and made the earliest available appointment to meet with their representatives. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of the organization, and one thing that immediately stood out was the fact that they had done this so many times before and with a very respectable success rate. By the end of the first meeting, we had narrowed down the schools to apply, and by the end of the second, they sent me home to start writing essays. What began as a frenzied panic to begin the application process quickly settled down to something that both me and my parents were a lot more comfortable with.
College Zone helped me first choose the universities, then write the application essays. They helped me work through the complicated paperwork, and were available at all hours to counsel me and give me advice. As a prospective medicine student, they also helped me through the interview process for each and every university. Today, I have already been accepted into my first choice university, and have already begun the next stage of the admissions process in attaining a visa and acquiring the necessary immunizations.
I would like to wish a special commendation to Varun, Nagi and Poojha who were all instrumental figures in achieving my successful college admissions. Thank you all very much
